Lemon risotto with Black Dragon black tea

An ingredient having countless properties and extraordinary benefits, black tea, is proposed in this recipe in a completely innovative version, capable of enriching with novelty, color and flavor a great classic of the Italian tradition, risotto.

We have chosen for our Black Dragon black tea risotto the use of semi-integral rice. In fact, it is able to give risottos and soups that extra touch of natural flavor that makes the dishes unique and is ideal for a healthy and balanced diet that does not compromise on the pleasure of a cuisine rich in taste.


  • 320 gr rice
  • 1,5 lt water
  • 2 teaspoons Black Dragon tea
  • lemon peel possibly organic
  • salt to taste
  • pepper
  • q.b. evo oil

Black Dragon Tea

This tea, thanks to the care received in the process of oxidization, immediately presents a slight hint of malt, full bodied and capable of enveloping the more fruity flavor notes emerging from this infusion.

Prepare the risotto with lemon and Black Dragon tea

Prepare the infusion of Black Dragon black tea as directed on the package.

Dry roast the rice and pour in the tea. Cook adding more tea little by little (if you are afraid of a too strong taste from the tea you can dilute the infusion with vegetable broth). At the end of cooking, stir in a little olive oil, salt and pepper to taste and add the lemon zest.
