Cold matcha tea

A summer must-have! Iced matcha tea will delight everyone – adults and children alike!


  • 2 gr of Matcha Genmaicha Kiri
  • 200ml cup of water 
  • 5 or 6 fresh mint leaves
  • 2 tablespoons of organic blond cane sugar
  • 1-2 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup of bourbon whisky
  • Ice

Procedure for iced matcha tea

Infuse 2 grams of Matcha Genmaicha Kiri Tea in 200 ml of water for 1 minute and allow to cool.

Put the mint leaves and sugar in a mortar and grind them with the help of a pestle. Move to a shaker and add 1 tablespoon of lemon juice, the whisky, the matcha tea infusion and mix. Strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve, pressing down on the mint to extract all the flavour. Taste, add more lemon if you feel the need, then pour into two chilled matcha tea glasses and garnish with a few mint leaves.
