The perfect iced drink

Matcha green tea is great to drink cold in summer and to use as a base for really thirst quenching drinks! The fact of being a powder obtained from precious stone ground Japanese tea leaves makes it a concentrate of antioxidants and able to help metabolism thanks to the high content of catechins EGCG.

Ingredients:

  • 2 teaspoons of Matcha tea
  • 2 cups of water
  • 2 cups of ice cubes
  • 1 sliced lime or half a sliced organic lemon
  • a handful of fresh mint leaves
  • a teaspoon of honey + stevia (or just stevia)
  • ginger powder(optional)

How to Prepare Iced Matcha Tea

Mix the matcha tea powder with a few tablespoons of water, dissolving it so there are no lumps. Transfer the mixture to a pitcher, add the rest of the water, lime, mint and ice. Serve immediately.
